workstation 12 - Full screen tool bar does not drop down.

I have recently upgraded to Workstation 12 pro.

Since then all my virtual machines are unable to invoke the drop down tool bar when in full screen.

I am using a windows 7 ultimate 64bit host with dual screens.

I utilize the Workstation on one monitor while leaving the other monitor free (usually to read documentation while I use the VM to test various things)

Additionally  Ctrl+Alt+Enter does not drop me back out of Full Screen.

Is any one else experiencing this?

I discovered the answer.

It was rather annoying as  I wanted the toolbar drop down so I could update the vmware tools (I usually just right click the tab and choose update VM tools)

Unfortunately I have my VM's set to go into full screen on power up

I changed that to go to a window on start up.

upgraded VMware tools and the issue is gone.
