I am running VMWare Workstation 9.0.3 build-1410761 on Windows 8.1 (i.e. the host is Windows 8.,1)
I noticed that the host no longer recognised U&SB 2.0 disk drives when plugged in - it said there was no driver available.
After a lot of investigation, I discovered that if I stopped all the VMWare services (specifically vmware usb arbitration service, but you have to stop others first), my drives were recognised again.
Is this a know problem, and is there any solution?
