vmware tools issue

we are recently upgraded esx 4.1 to esx 5.5

but vmtools version is older. when ever i was trying to install new vmware tools

i am facing the error. could please suggest me

Have you changed the Hardware version of VM, change and try to upgrade tools.

Hi bheem

you have two options to upgrade the vmtools

by reparing the vmtools we can fix this

are else

copy the vmtools dump on the system

cmd   c:desktop :  setup.exe /c

this command clear the registration process

again run the vmtools you can able to fix this
