vmware's hdd can not recognized

Hello. 
i have a problem with my vmware 

i am using vmware workstation pro 15 and after finishing work the previous day,

I suspended two virtual machines. and the next day when i tried to resume that 2 VMs. 

the one is works well, but the other didn't woke upand error message with "file not found..... .vmdk"


when i selected that vmdk file by manual another error message show with

"Verift the path is valid and try again The system cannot find the file specified....

Module Disk power on failed. Failed to start..."

i closed the vmware and delete lck folder but not works.

and copy vmware to other PC and opened it same error occur

the HDD on vm can't recognized

i don't know how to do next. could any one help me please?

How is this step to recover your VM?

  1. Make a new VM without VMDK.
  2. Attache the existing VMDK to the new VM created 1st step.
  3. Try Power On.

If you can power on the VM, you can use it and delete old VM.

I could see you use a "D drive" for VM store.

From native Windows File explorer, could you access the "D Drive" and vmdk inside it?

yes. no problem to access to drive d and vmware folder. i opened mail vmdk file on memopad there is no broken characters. looks normal.

Is this character normal in your PC?

I think this should be “D:/Virtual Machines/Windows…”

that is korean windows. it displayed like that

really thank you for your reply.
working the way you suggested
i found that the s020 file is missing among the vmdk files in vm of this issue
i don't know if this is the cause, but the boot was successful
and i have to check the system first
