vmware pro and server

can you host VMware on the computer but VMS uses the resources of a server (CPU, ram, storage, and network) instead of my computers, basically you just access and manage the vms like normally on VMware workstation pro but just not stored on my physical computer?

You could potentially use ESXi (also know as vSphere Hypervisor) to do exactly that, it hosts VMs and you administer them from a remote system using a web browser.
