vmware player with two NICs

Hello,

I wonder if I can use vmware player 15 when I have two network cards on host OS? I need them be in bridged mode, so one guest OS (VM) can be part of one network, while other guest OS (VM) be part of totally different network (i think one or both of them can be NAT, in that case host OS would need to set up proper IP addresses for both network, but bridged seems more suitable for this).

It seems that in vmware player it is not possible to link specific virtual adapter to specific NIC on the host.

Any recommendations?

Thank you

Yes, you can do this - BUT...

1. You must use the Virtual Network Editor (which is not part of the Player installation - you must extract it from the Workstation installer - search the site for instructions).

2. Set 2 unused VMnet switches to one each physical NIC on your host.

3. In your VM configuration, set the network connection type to "Custom" and specify whichever VMnet (setup in step 2) you want the VM to connect to.
