vmware logon issue on workstation 6 on windows xp

Hello Everybody,

I have installed vmware workstation 6 on windows xp. then I got license to use it's 30 days trial version.

next,when I cliecked on .vmx file to open the image stored on my local computer and I clicked on the green poer on botton.,windows xp is started on seperate window.

so ,wmware works fine till here.

next, it prompt me for logon password. ?

ahhhhh... I don't know where to get that.

Please help me..............

If I'm interpreting you correctly, that is the Windows logon. That not a VMWare Workstation logon. So use the username and password you created when you installed Windows in the virtual machine. Try Administrator with no password.

I have my problem resolveed by arranging for the password for opeining the image .
