vmrun is behaving perfectly for things like starting and stopping the guest, and it creates shared folders.
Sort of.
With a command like:
vmrun -T ws addSharedFolder <path to vm> d:\offload /var/log/audit/offload
I see claims of success, but files placed in one don't show in the other.
vmrun -T ws copyfilefromguesttohost <path to vm> /var/log/audit/offload/somereport d:\offload
fails with an error of incorrect file type.
Reinstalling VMware tools this morning didn't change anything.
What am I missing?
