I am using vmware Workstation 7.x.

Version 7.x is necessary and recommended to use with my application! vmworkstion8.x images will not work!

I have to setup a new system with vmWorkstion 7.x and I like to buy a new user license!

But, I can buy only vmWorkstation  license for vmworkstation 8.x

Question:

canI run my vmworkststion7.x with a new license key of vmworkstation 8.x?

or

can I run my vmimage of 7.x in the vmworkststion environment of vmworkstation 8.x?
