vm going to black screen with out any thing coming up .

Hi there,

Am using win2012 on my vmworkstation 15.0.2,when i start the vm it goes completely to black screen see below screen shot for reference.For work around i will restart my laptop and if i got luck it start the vm other wise it goes in to black screen,but this done'st happen quite often.pls advice.

Host OS and version?

Have you tried updating Workstation to the latest 15.x build to rule out security patches / bugfixes?

Has this VM worked in the past?

Host OS windows 10(My Laptop Dell xps). Am using the follwoing vmworkstation version : 15.0.2 build-10952284.

It worked in the past ,essentially it works some times and it doesn't work some other times.Pls advice.

Depending on the VERSION of Windows 10, you may need a newer version of Workstation.  The latest released is 15.5.6.
