vm display too big

When the VM starts, the Workstation screen gets very big. I have to reduce it like 5-6 times.

Even if I set the VM monitor maximum resolution to very small, it has no effect. The VM is again very big.

What can I do so that I don't have to reduce every time the Workstation size ?

Thanks, but it does not help.

If I choose "Keep aspect ratio stretch", then the main screen won't be too large when VM boots. But the VM inside will be too smalls (even in full screen).

I don't know what I can do.

Important info :

I don't have this problem with a Windows VM.

I have this problem with my Ubuntu 16 64-bit VM.

I'm using latest Workstation version (15.5.0).
