vCPU speed fixed at 1.50 Ghz

Hi folks,

I have created a windows 10 VM using workstation v15.5 and it runs like a dog. I have a high performance machine with 64Gb of RAM. I notice the vCPU speed is fixed at 1.50Ghz and the processor is continually maxed out at 100% as a result and therefore useless. 

I am at a loss as to how to make the CPU speed dynamic i.e. not fixed. Any advice welcome!

What speed is your physical CPU?

What is the model of your physical CPU?

How many virtual CPUs does your VM have?
