My rig now relies on USB UAS storage devices. The issue I am having is they go into sleep mode even though my host is configured not too. After doing a deep dive I am seeing these devices have something called 'intelligent sleep' or an auto sleep mode separate from the control of the host operating system.
Is anyone else running into this issue?
Can someone recommend a USB 3.1/3.2 (preferably type C) enclosure that allows the OS to control the sleep state of the storage?
Thank you.
