Host OS?

Guest OS?

Network mode of VM? (eg. NAT, Bridged)

Guest OS firewall disabled?

There's no filter in the NAT network that would prevent e.g. an SSH client from accessing to the VM, so it's got to be something on the Debian VM itself that may need to be configured.

@a_p_

I have tried on workstation 15 It used to work well before upgrading to 16 .

Edit: I have again checked the ssh service is running on port 22 of the machine I can ping the VM from the host but ports just cannot be accessed.
