Page 220 of the \_Workstation User's Manual_ states that OS'es installed in a multibooted environment can also be used in VM's. This then indicates that guest OS'es can be installed either within or outside of the host OS'es filesystem. Is there any benefit of one over the other? Are snapshots possible only with guest OS'es installed within the host OS'es filesystem?
The user's manual also states that the host OS needs a minimum of 200MB (Linux) or 650MB (Windows) for Workstation to install. It is unclear whether this limits the number of potential guest OS'es and/or the ability to take snapshots of guest OS'es.
Please advise.
