Hi, the software that I'm testing requires a hard drive serial number to keep track of drives. With Workstation 7.1 all the hard drive information is blank (at least some WMI calls in Windows 7 says so). My question is is there a way for me to set a hard drive serial number for a virtual hard disk. Just like you can set the MAC address for a virtual NIC?
