screenshot appears broken?

I take a screenshot (VM | capture screen). I get a dialog box saying it has saved it to my host's desktop. But when I check the host desktop folder (/home/william/Desktop) there's nothing there.

I'm running Workstation 12 Pro 12.5.2 build-4638234 on Centos 7.2.

Hi,

FWIW, this works for me on PCLinuxOS and Workstation 12.5.2.

So it seems that a dependency for making the screenshot is missing on your centOS box.

The question is what that would be.

What you can try is to run vmware from the command line and then try to take the sceenshot again.

With a bit of luck it will output an error to the command line then.

The other option is to search in the vmware.log to see if an error is reported about this not working down there.
