I have several Vista VMs created with VMWare 6.0.1 on Win XP sp2.
I could resume them within 15 seconds.
With VMWare 6.0.2 and 6.0.3 it takes more than a minute:
1st nothing happens for up to a minute (cpu load < 5%), then the VM is resumed.
Any idea?
Resuming any VM is slow for me, with 6.0.0 through 6.0.3. Case in point, restoring a 1GB Windows XP client takes well over a minute to progress from 0 to 100% restore. I can re-boot the VM in about 20 seconds, so now I ever suspend because its soooo darn slow.
Host is Windows Vista x64, 8GB RAM, C2D 3.2GHz processor.
