I'm using WorkstationPro 12 to separate development environments, one environment is for developing an Android application. Up until now I could connect the Android device to the VM, but now it refuses. I'm not sure when this started, because I have not worked on the project for some time, but I know for sure it worked when Windows 7 was used as the host.
The same connection problem goes for all the other removable devices; I have an a number of USB soundcards (a.o. a headset) and a USB webcam, they all won't connect with sometimes the message "driver error". I've tried different VM's, but all the unconnected devices won't connect (the regular ones like DVD drive, network and soundcard are connected from the start). It seems very much to be a VMWare Workstation vs Windows 10 host issue.
