"runProgramInGuest" not working in shared vm

Hi,

I have a problem with runProgramInGuest cmd using a shared VM.

When I run the script below I get the "Error: The specified guest user must be logged in interactively to perform this operation." message.

vmrun -T ws-shared -h https://hostname:443/sdk -u root -p mypass -gu admin -gp guestpass runProgramInGuest "[Vol1] WIN8VM/Windows8.vmx" -activeWindow -interactive "C:\Windows\System32\Notepad.exe"

*User Account Control Settings is set to never notify

*VMware Workstation 9

Please share with us how you determined this has anything whatsoever to do with the issue in the OP.  MiskRain is not using the Perl implementation of the VIX API, vmrun is what's being used and therefore once again another one of your barrage posts is worthless!
