"internal error" when starting machine

Hi forums, I'm very very new to using virtual machine. I had almost no idea of the functions of installation all I know is that I followed a tutorial and it worked. I had a virtual machine working but after a couple of days it screwed up for some reason I am running on windows 7x64 and my vm workstation is 8.0.2-591240. Can someone please help me solve this error with a solution? I can answer any questions you guys would like, also how can i check my error logs? I have also tried to reinstall everything but it keeps giving me the error, I'm guessing I'm not deleting the registry keys or something because I deleted the folder within appdata/roaming and the vmmachines within my documents but still nothing with a reinstallation. Someone please help !

Hi, in VM's directory there are log files. Please, attach the last log.

Bye!

No, search file named vmware.log in VM's location.

Cannot find the file, do I have to enable logging within wokstation? I only have installation logs.

Check the .vmx file end set "logging = true".

Check "log.filename", too.

Hey rsicilia thanks for your time, I think I fixed it though, I can run it in debug mode. But I dont know about any other way lol. I think Ill just stick to it, there is also no logging option under .vmx or no text I tried to edit with notepad++

It's strange. In many case this indicate some vDevice's problem.

Bye!
