try to change the directory as i am seeing your .vmx is in C directory just change it into D or F

We need to know which file is not accepted as a valid virtual disk.
If necessary look it up in the vmx-file - there should be a line that references a vmdk file.
Check if this file exists and show us a list of files in the VMs directory.

You would get that message if you tried to open the specified vmdk by doubleclicking it.
Please attach the vmx-file to your next reply.
