hi

i am trying to use an solaris 10 on vmware that solaris before worked on real pc in 64 bit mode

when i tryed to use that in 64 bit mode in vmware i got error

panic: cannot open kernel/amd64/unix

but before that i run solaris in 32 bit mode and fixed boot path in vfstab and bootenv.rc

before that i run in fail safe and fixed boot path in vfstab and bootenv.rc and i got an vmware error

please help

Workstation version? Host OS?

Do other guest OS's work? Have you tried installing this Solaris guest from scratch?

Does your host hardware support running 64-bit guests? Refer to knowledgebase article 1901 for specific details.

yes all other guest is work and my cpu is intel cor2due e8400 64 bit capable and mb gigabyte x48dq6T

os is xp sp3 or server 2008 64bit
