p2v windows 7 locks up when loading personal settings

windows 7 that was a created by p2v. when i power it up with vmware workstation 16 or player 16 it boots right up but when i enter my username and password it says loading personal setting and than says not responding. i can get a cntrl alt delete  amd task manager and that is it. 

I tried disabling  and changing video setting on th vm settings tab

when i boot in safe mode it comes up to logon screen and reboots instantly. 

i tried removing all hardware not critical like sound card. cdrom.

logging as another username with admin rights

I am needing some help. i am out of ideas,  TY Orders

You say the VM was created by p2v - can you be more specific ?
Did you patch drivers ?
What controller do you use for the bootdisk : IDE, Sata or SCSI ?
