I have an ovf file to open on vmware workstation 7.1.4 (latest available 1 week ago) for linux but vmware workstation doesn't support this format.
I installed vmware workstation today on Windows 7 and it does support the ovf format.
How do I open the ovf file on linux? I tried to install a package called vmware-ovftool-2.1.0, but it compained of vmware related dependancies I believe.
Is there a way to convert from ovf to a compatible config file that the linux version accepts such as .vmx or .cfg?
