openSUSE 12.1 as a guest in Workstation 7 / 8?

Hi, I have checked the release notes for Workstation 7.x and 8.x but they say not much about what version of openSUSE is supported as a guest. I'm currently running openSUSE 11.2 in Workstation 7.1.5 (7.1.0 Release Notes say this is supported), but I want to upgrade my openSUSE.

Is openSUSE 12.1 supported as a guest in Workstation 7.1.5? Is openSUSE 12.1 supported as a guest in Workstation 8?

Thanks in advance.

Markus

From vmware HCL openSUSE 12.1  is not supported in any of the Workstation releases.

the latest release supported is opensuse11.3 on WS8.

I have been running openSUSE 12.1 on Workstation 8 (Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Host) for a while with no issues at all.
