not able to install linux manual

Hi  All,

i installed VMware Workstation 7.0.0 on Windows 7 and i try to install linux Advance server on it as guets OS but it is aking me root user and manual disk partition , i mean whithout askin its going to install automaticall and even i am not able to knwo root password.

please tell me how do i install linux AS 4 manually.?

is there any setting to do for manual installation?

Note: the same linux AS 4  DVD i already installed on Windows XP

Welcome to the Community,

when you created the VM, did you select to use the "Easy Install" feature? If yes, either create a new VM without using "Easy Install" or remove the virtual floppy from the VM's settings and delete the autoinst.flp file from the VM's folder.
