newest ver of player for windows (10) - cannot figure out how/where to get vmware tools installed offline

A number of posts reference a variant of vmware player (albeit older) that includes the vmware tools .iso built into the downloadable package, but I can't find it anywhere in the 12.5.7 image. Also can't seem to find a download location for it, nor a posting anywhere regarding where to find it.

So again: I'm looking for an offline .iso of vmware tools for workstation player, or some other method of being able to install it if workstation player has no internet access.

Any ideas?

Try http://www.vmware.com/go/tools

You should be able to extract the corresponding ISO file for the guest OS and mount the ISO as a virtual CD/DVD for the VM that doesn't have internet access.
