new vmware 16 purchase - product registration fails, key already registered.

I  just purchased WorkstationPro v16 with production support. 

When I try to register the product it says it is already registered but doesn't say who it's registered to.

I cannot get support because the purchase doesn't show up in my registrations.

So, does anyone know what step I need to take to get the tech support I paid for?

Thread reported, asking moderators to move it to the Workstation Pro area - the {code} area is specific to SDK matters.
