new virtual machine can not run

i have windows 7

and i have VMware Workstation

when i creat new virtual machine and when i power on it show this error

what i happen

do you have the XP inside Virtual PC running at the same time ? that will not work

try to run "net start vmx86" and report what it says

Best and easy way:-

1.) Uninstall vm

2.) restart machine

3.) install again

4.) reboot your machine again

5.) before starting go to run or search then type services.msc and check that all vmware named service must be running and set to automatically.

Oh dear - please do not follow this advice - it will not change anything.

Very likely the problem is caused by XP-compatibility mode of Windows 7.

So a re-install will not help you - instead it is a waste of time
