I think i posted this in the wrong area before, so let's try again.
I'm not a newb when it comes to setting up hardware and software systems but it has been quite a few years since last setting up a network and first time setting up a VMWare network. This is also my first time using Server2003 as well.
I currently have 3 Server 2003 virtual systems setup on VMware Workstation 6.0.4. Firstly, i installed server 2003 on one virtual system and then just cloned it over twice, so have 2 other server2003 systems. The network settings for all are set to bridged mode. My plan is to add several XP systems to the network as standard workstations, have 1 2003 server running Exchange, 1 acting as file server and another just to have a play with 2003.
Any guides on setting up a server with vmware or can anyone set me up down the correct path please? Also, is there anything i need to take into account with when networking the systems together interms of setting up Exchange 2007.

It's not so clear what you're going to do, but if you want to have some Windows XP client (phisical Machine) to talk with your Windows 2003 Server systems running on VM on your VMware Workstation, you can leave your configuration as is and connect your ethernet cable to your network.
Be sure to assign a unique IP address to all your windows Server 2003 systems and you can talk to all using bridged interface.
Obviously, you will have all network traffic on the same NIC (your's PC phisical NIC) so you could have some latency problem, but this depends on how much client (XP) you want to connect to your network and which kind of traffic you want to have from and to your Windows Server 2003 Systems.

All the machines on the network will be virtual, the 3 server2003 machines and the 3 xp machines. It's running on a vista64bit machine that won't be connected up at all.
If all VMs will be virtual and you don't want any access to external network you could use all VMs on hostonly network, otherwise you could use bridged networking.

Do you know of any guides that would show me how to setup the network?
Thankyou for the answers.
