Hi All
Sorry for the newbe question
My laptop has to use NAT, which works ok on my home network (192.168.x.x) but not at my work (154.110.x.x).
Question - How can I manually change the NAT settings at work? (and what to?)
thanks

Are you saying that the host OS on your laptop does not connect at work? Or does the host OS connect but not the guest VM?
Lou
Hi Lou
My host OS connects both at work and home. However, my Guest OS's only connect at home.
My guest OS's use NAT, which is connected to VMnet8, and seems to be set staticly configured someplace to use 192.168.x.x.
Please post "ipconfig /all" from host OS (assume is Windows).
Post also "Virtual Network Settings..." and ".vmx" of your guest.
Hi Pete
Sorry for delay. ipconfig /all (at work) =.

Are you sure that you got configuration from the right machine?
Because there is no trace of VMware NAT (VMnet8) there and "work" subnet is also different than originally posted.
Hi, Yes indeed - hence the delay - I knew I was opening a-can-o-worms. I remember original VMWare and it was way different.
Hay-ho, this is how it works(?) now - post installed over my VPN Citrix client (which there's just no getting rid off) which I guess to have locked down all the same resources.
I've changed all my vmware apps to NAT, and that seems atleast to work from home. (I suspect - by fluke - NAT uses 192.168.xxx.xxx)
BTW here's the info from my home location ...
