minor (but annoying) issue

VMware works so perfect that this little stupid things keeps on annoying me.

this effect stayed with me over several major VM versions:

all of the guest machines I recently used stay within VM's lru list.

all, but one.

and always the same

whenever I restart VMWARE the next day, all the other guests are there as expected but the "special one" is not,

no matter which state it was in.

all the same, all the time.

really weird

Any idea would be highly welcome

Are you using Workstation? When you say you restart VMware are you rebooting the host operating system or closing the Type 2 hypervisor?

Sorry !!

I am currently using VMware® Workstation 14 Pro

with,  say 8 different guests (vcontaining different versions of embedded IDEs, by the way)

and only one of them "gets lost" in the last recently used list of VMWARE
