issues on running vmware workstation in xp x64

my OS is windows xp x64 service pack 2.i have installed the latest version of vwmare workstation--VMware-workstation-6.0.0-44426,but when i dobule click the program or the link,it can't run anyway,it can give a hint that i have no permission of running this program. i am designing a OS and want test it on the VMware workstation,i am very tweak and anyone who can geve a solution i would thanks for the help very very much

Sounds like it may have not been installed incorrectly.

What happens if you right click on vmware.exe and select "Run as Administrator" ?

i have done as you say before but it dosen't work too

Virtual Machine 2007 on my computer too

but i can't manage it and can't find out the reason

it is not the problem of the installation

when i dobule click the installation program of Vmware workstation it do as i do about the vmware workstation too

If you receive the error "no permission to run this program" you may need to uninstall and reinstall using the "Local Administrator" account.

Do not use the Domain admin account or a non-local admin account to install the product.
