I am evaulating VMware ...very new to it ..... I have not read all the manuals and docks.... I am on a laptop
running win 7 as a guest the resulting window is so small ... with scroll bars on the side and bottom .
Is there a way to remove the top "VMware" tool bar so the window can be large enough to make it usable?
Have you tried the full screen view already?

I would run the VM in vmplayer.exe - there it is easy to remove the top-bar - see

I found a command that worked best for me:
sudo vmware-installer -u vmware-workstation
LOL - I see no relation to your original post here - but never mind - if you think it solves your issue - so be it 😉
