Click on Start=> then run, then type in msiexec /regserver, then on OK.
wait 5 Seconds
start a new try of the Tools-Installation.

1) copy the vmtools in folder desktop or any drive
2) open command prompt
3) go to the vmtools location
run this command c:desktop : setup.exe /c
this command will re register the vmtools.
after that again enter setup.exe
my issues got fixed
