host system w2008 64-bit changed to domain controller - vmware authorization service not startable

Hi,

please give me a tip, my vmware is not startable any longer

i have changed my host system from win2008 srv enterprise 64-bit (perfect running) to a domain controller

after restart the "vmware authorization service" is not starting telling "service was stopped with error 6000002"

at a guess I'd say its because local accounts tend to get moved when you promote a GC. I'd be tempted to reinstall Workstation. ( after backing up your machines and configs )
