hello guys i am a newbie in the field of networking. i installed fedora core 6 on my windows xp machine using vmware 5.5. i am an engineering student and now we got a networking lab in which we access the linux server from windows xp machines through putty.can i simulate the same situation at my home using vmware? if so can anybody direct me? i just want to compile and run c programs from xp at the linux server. text mode is just fine.
