has wmware workstation 7 a 64bit installation program?

I download the 7.0 build 203739 from vmware.com,and it does say it's for 32bit or 64bit.

but the software was installed automatically on the program files(x86) folder of my x64 XP,and the task manager shows as "vmware.exe(32)".

Does vmware workstation program support x64 platform?

you downloaded the right version.

On Windows Workstation is a hybrid: the drivers and the executable vmware-vmx.exe are 64bit - the GUI is 32 bit so everything is fine.
