has internal consistency errors that might be caused by partial corruption of the disk file.

I want to execute an OVA. I got this error message and finally rebooted, what's the problem?

The disk 'C:\Users\FeN\Documents\Virtual Machines\CM-Simplex-08.0.0.0.822-e67-2\CM-Simplex-08.0.0.0.822-e67-2-disk1.vmdk'

Do you wish to repair the disk and continue?

Welcome to the Community,

I'd certainly be able to answer your question straight away, if only I had a crystal ball. ;-)))
Please provide details!

  1. Did you verify that the OVA is valid, i.e. not corrupted by e.g. checking hash values?
  2. You say "execute" an OVA. Can you confirm that you imported it, and not just extracted its contents?
  3. Does the error occur during, or right after deploying the OVA, or later while using the VM?
  4. Does the VM's folder contain a vmware.log that has related entries?
  5. Did you try to exclude *.vm* files from on-access scanning by your A/V app?
  6. Can you confirm that the VM's folder is not included in e.g. OneDrive replication?
