guest time 1 hour ahead from host time - time synchronization problem

Hello guys,

how the title says: My virtual machine goes one hour wrong, but every time exact one hour, no minute more or less.

I'm using the latest VMware Workstation 12, my host System is Windows 10 and my guest system is Windows 7.

I tried many things out: ones I tried out to check the checkbox "synchronize guest time with host" in the vm-settings, but nothing changed. I tried to reboot, unchecked and rechecked again, but every time the problem still exists. I tried out, maybe it could be a Problem in Windows 7 so I synchronized time in the time-settings with Windows-time-servers. After that my clock was right. But it didn't take a long time and it went wrong again. I tried it many times, and to reboot, but unfortunately the problem still exists.

I also searched a lot in VMware Forums and found something about vmx-settings:

tools.syncTime = "TRUE"

tools.syncTime.period = "60"

I tried that out, but it didn't helped.

I'm done, I can't solve this problem.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Silly question, but have you verified that you have the time zone (including daylight savings time) settings correct in your guest os?

Yes, my time zone is correct adjusted.

I'm living in Germany so my time zone is (UTC +01:00) Amsterdam, Berlin, Rom, Stockholm, Wien and I have checked the checkbox for automatic summer-/wintertime.

Look at screenshot.

Thank you.
