fedora 10 + vmware workstation = failed. Any suggestions?
Hi All,
Ive been having problems trying to get Vmware Workstation running on Fedora 10 (x86_64)
I've been reading through the fourms and a few articles suggest to mv the modules directory and run the
mv /usr/lib/vmware/modules/binary /usr/lib/vmware/modules/binary.old
vmware-modconfig --console --install-all
Stopping VMware services:
Virtual machine communication interface
Unable to stop services
These did not help.
I have tried the rpm version and the Bundle version without any luck.
It seems the vmnet and vmmon modules are not being built.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Found the solution.
A build of the modules from source was required.
