extremely slow scp transfer rate to VM

Hi, I don't use workstation very often, but I am using the vmware cloud builder appliance as a vm on workstation at home for lab use to configure my cluster as I don' t have anything else to run the appliance.

So, the image builder needs an ISO uploaded to it and on my windows 10 workstation that is running vmware workstation pro, it takes nearly 3 hours to  upload a vmvisor iso... thats only roughly 300MB... its going at 21Kb/s 😞  I really don't even know where to start trouble shooting this other than I've turned off my kaspersky AV to be sure.  Its a bridged network adapter..  the VM has great connectivity to the physical network - after I get the ISO uploaded, it images my esxi hosts at blazing speeds... the whole network is 10Gb fiber between workstation and esxi hosts.  But I don't know why it would be so slow to upload to this VM when it sort of is barely touching the network... but then I know so little about workstation.. any ideas on what I should be looking for?
