errors after upgrade 6.0 to 6.0.2

I have tried to upgarede from 6.0 to 6.0.2.

All seemed to go OK, the tools are updatetd as well now, but when starting the VM created with 6.0 in 6.0.2 I am getting an error:

Exception processing message c0000013 Parameters 5ffa1d6c 5ffa1d6c 5ffa1d6c

Thereafter I can click that one off and start the VM, but this will then try to recover registry and do other strange things first.

Once the VM did run one time, it will run correctly again when started, provided the vm workstation itself was not shut down in the meantime.

The host is here w2k and guest w98se.

This behaiviour is noticed first after update to 6.0.2

Is there some issue know to this?

I just started seeing this, too. My error parameters are different: 75b6bfdc 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c. XP Pro32 guest and host, and on XP32 guest on XP64 host. Clicking Cancel or Continue in the message box allows the VM to boot with no apparent problems.

I get this message when my Blackberry is plugged in, and I have not enabled mass storage. (so the internal SD card in the Blackberry is inaccessible to Windows)

I'm guessing that vmware can see the SD device, but can't read it, so it complains.

Problem is solved by unplugging the Blackberry or enabling mass storage mode when plugging it in.
