create a ssh sever with two diferent guest

HI,

I have Vmware workstation and I've created two Ubuntu 10.04 like guest.

In first I use NAT to have rights for use Internet's home and I install ssh server and in the second I use host-only and with a wifi I connect to external wlan to can conect to ssh server. The problem is that when I try to connect with the ssh server I can't. I see also that when I try to do a ping to the ssh server doesnt reply.

Could you help me please?

Many thanks and sorry for my english!

I don't understand.

Are you trying to connect from the VMs to an external ssh server, or are you trying to connect to ssh servers running in the VMs? If the latter, where are you trying to connect from? (from the host? from outside your home network?)

Sorry, my english is poor.

VM One -->Ubuntu 10.04 with ssh server. Network mode:Bridge. I have Internet because is connected to the home LAN.

VM Two -->Ubuntu 10.04. With this machine I would like to connect to VM One by ssh. I have Internet becase I'm connecting to a external WLAN.

From VM Two I do ping to VM One and doesnt reply. If I try to do ssh VM One I aslo doesnt have reply.

Many thanks!

Which network do you use here? NAT or bridged?

What kind of physical NIC do both guests use? If you use a wireless try to use the wired NIC first for both guests if you use bridged networking for both.

Post "ifconfig -a" from both guests.
