copy paste of text from guest to host and host to guest does not work. The option for enabling it is grayed out on the isolation settings menu.
Workstation 12 Pro 30 day trial license, Windows 10 host, Debian Stretch guest. Separately the installations are working well.
VM ware tools install went on without problems a few days ago. I am able to share a folder, for example. But I can not copy / paste text from Linux to Windows.
When going to guest isolation settings the check boxes for enabling copy paste and drag and drop are grayed out, and thus unselectable. I'm mainly interested in copy paste. Note the attached screen shot.
This seems unrelated but noteworthy just in case: vmware tools update also fails.
