I have been using VMware for some years. Just switched to a Windows 10 host, and virtualised my OLD development machine (DEV13 Windows 7) within it using VMware WorkStation 12 PRO. For a start I had problems getting the networking working on DEV13. Reinstalled VMware tools many times without success. I fixed that, by going into Device Manager, deleting the network driver and doing a scan for new hardware. Fixed.
But the cursor always sticks inside the DEV13 VM window, have to press Ctrl+Alt to move out, and if asked to span across multiple monitors, I get the error
I have several other VM Machines. All Windows 7 which work fine.
I have tried uninstalling the VMware drivers, and reinstalling many times. DEV13 also had VMware WorkStation 12 PRO on it before being Virtualised which I uninstalled.
Any ideas how to fix this?
