It's OK with "Workstation 11.0".
If I use VMware Workstation 12 Pro to create a new VM(Windows ME), then try to install the VMware tools, I'll get the message "failed to install the mouse driver". And sometime the mouse is very difficult to use.
If I create the VM with version 11, it'll be OK, even if you updrade it to 12. It's still OK.
