bridged network not working - vmware workstation pro 14

Dear all,

The VMware workstation 14 pro was installed in Windows Server 2016 Datacentre, only NAT was working. If I open the Virtual Network Editor without admin status, vmNet0 could not be find.

Even I edit with admin status, after save and reopen the editor without admin status, still unable to locate vmNet0, any advice as bridge network were not working at all.

Thanks

Ralph

Bridged network is by default VMnet0.  The VMware Bridge Protocol client driver needs to be installed/added to any physical NIC which you want to use Bridging.  The VMware Installer *should* automatically do this for any NICs present when you install, but there may be OS security prompts or something with Windows Server 2016.  Try to manually install the VMware Bridge Protocol to the desired NICs (should be vmnetbridge.inf file in the Workstation directory, if I remember).
