activating license without internet ?

I want to use workstation 17 pro(enterprise), and my computer is in offline environment. (don't have internet connect)

(already I've moved VMware workstation Installer file to the computer)

I've found some posts about licensing without internet, and 

the answers say that licensing can be done without internet access.

(just enter the license serial key when first running VMware workstation right after installing) 

Is this right ?

If i purchase a license and have VMware workstation file in my computer,  licensing steps do not need internet access?

if there is a official documents or answer about this, please let me know

Hi,

Yes, that is correct. There are no activation servers.
VMware has chosen a license model where they decided to trust their customers to follow the licensing requirements.
A choice that is very commendable IMO.
